Silverton Engineering Turns 70!
Silverton Engineering is thrilled to celebrate its 70th birthday! Since we began in 1954, we have grown into a leading name in making car parts. We create radiators, oil coolers, and other tools that help keep engines cool. This special year shows how much we have achieved and highlights our leadership in the field. It’s a great time to reflect on our successes and think about the future.
Celebrating with Our Team
We wanted to thank everyone who helped us reach this milestone. So, Silverton Engineering gave each employee a special gift. On a cold June morning, Leon Bukes, our Commercial Manager, gave the first gift to Maartin Boshoff, our Managing Director. After that, Leon spoke to everyone about our past and the exciting plans we have for the future.
Our celebration included fun activities and shared stories. These moments brought everyone together and helped us appreciate our journey. Since our team is crucial to Silverton Engineering, we made sure they felt valued and recognized.
Changes Are Coming to Silverton Engineering!
As we celebrate, Silverton Engineering is also making big changes. In August, we shipped the last products from our old radiator factory. This step ended one chapter and opened a new one with fresh projects. We will redesign the factory space to handle new work and contracts.
We will also prepare the space for press and welding projects. These updates will help us better serve car manufacturers. We are excited about these improvements and eager to stay ahead in the industry.
Although leaving the old factory behind is tough, we look forward to new opportunities. These changes will help Silverton Engineering become even better. We are ready to start with new goals and projects.
Exciting New Projects
We also have great news! In June, we shipped our first transformer radiators to Siemens in Austria. We worked hard for over two years to meet Siemens’ high standards, and we are proud of this achievement. Additionally, we sent transformer radiators to Zambia for the first time by road. These milestones show our growth and our ability to reach new markets worldwide.
These successes reflect the hard work of everyone at Silverton Engineering. We are excited about what’s next and look forward to making more high-quality products. As we move ahead, we are ready for new challenges and opportunities to better serve our customers.
